the-mermaid-ariel:

“Oh hello there!” Ariel says and waves to her.

"Hi, and you are?" Esmeralda asked the strange girl. "I’m Esmeralda." She figured might as well introduce herself.

“Ermm.. Bark Bark!” He quickly resorted to dog-mode upon being asked what he was. As he panted madly, he caught a strong whiff of her goat. “Ewwie!” he exclaimed as he began to cough. “Stitch is happy to meet you Esmeralda…” he coughed “and goat.”

“A dog? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a dog like you before.” Esmeralda gave Stitch a friendly smile and laughed when he gave the comment to Djali. She glanced over, seeing Djali rolling his eyes. “It’s nice to meet you too, Stitch.” She held out her hand for him to shake, “This is Djali.”

Stitch sniffed at Esmeralda’s hand before shaking it with his paw, making sure to keep his claws retracted. “Stitch not like other dogs, Stitch special.” he retorted in his usual third-person as he wiggled his eyebrows. “You seem special too.” he sighed as he looked dreamily into her emerald-green eyes. “Stitch not sure about Djali though…” he eyed the suspicious goat, a bit annoyed at it’s constant interrupting presence.

"I’m sure you are very special." Esmeralda said with a smile, considering Stitch is the only blue dog she’s ever seen…and can talk. She was still surprised and perplexed that he could talk but was slowly getting used to it. "I supposed you could say I’m special." She shrugged, she was a Princess, technically; Princess of the gypsies in the Court of Miracles, but she hardly considered that special. "Sorry, he gets a bit curious." She shrugged, pushing Djali back away from Stitch.

stitchisfluffy asked:
"Nani?" the blue animal wondered aloud as he approached. He half-growled when he realized it wasn't the member of his Ohana, but then he saw how cute she was and then he made a motion that looked like he was slicking the hair on his head back. "Hi. You don't know meega, but meega is Stitch." he then continued to wink as he attempted a seductive (but terribly goofy) looking smile.

Esmeralda looked down to see a strange blue creature at her feet. She wasn’t one to judge; human or animal but Djali was a different story, the small goat got protective of the young gypsy. She kneeled down, patting Djali on the head, assuring him that it was alright. This blue animal had a strange way of talking but Esmeralda was surprised it could talk at all. Her emerald eyes widened in amazement and she smiled, “I’m Esmeralda.” She said. The smile turned into a slight laugh when he winked. “What exactly are you, Stitch?” She asked.

” Well, don’t you look familiar. Hey, names Aladdin!” Greets her with a smile and puts hands on hips

"Familiar?" Esmeralda studied the boy, wondering if she had ever seen him before. "Have we met?" She asked but the he introduced himself, "Sorry, I’m Esmeralda." She said with a nod of her head and a smile.

Le Stroll | Open

jamespleiadeshawkins:

The young boy shoved his hands deep in his pockets as he walked the streets. He soon wandered into the market part of town that usually hosted farmers with their fruit and other such items. Jim usually snatched something to bite when someone was not looking, as that was what he had become accustomed to. As he grabbed an apple from a near by stand, the attention of an onlooker brought shouts to what he had done. “Shit..” Jim tossed the apple back onto the cart, but it was too late. He scrambled fast in an attempt to get away from the man whom owned the cart. It wasn’t such a good idea since Jim had returned the apple, and now the cart was their alone without eyes watching over it. He turned a few alley ways before he figured they were lost. Every few seconds the boy would check over his shoulder, just in case they had found his trail. When he was sure they had not seen him, Jim started to slow his pace to a slow trot. A holler made him jump and begin to run once again. He rounded the next corner, only to feel the bump of a body hit his. Now he was sprawled out on the ground, pretty pissed about someone being in his way. With a scowl he looked to see whom it was that slowed him. In the background he could hear the hollering again. This time he could hear clearer that it was a woman looking for her cat. Really? Jim just took off because some lady called out for her cat? He let out a puff of air from his annoyance and finally started to take in whom it was that knocked him down.

Before him was a woman a few years older then him. He raised his eyebrows as he looked her over. She seemed to be of some sort of dancer with the type of clothes she wore, and he could see there was an instrument on the ground as well. Some type of drum perhaps. Jim got up and brushed the dirt off his trousers, giving an exasperated sigh. “Yea, I’m fine.” He ignored her gentle touch, but looked her thoroughly over. “I didn’t hurt you, did I?” The last thing the boy needed was to be turned in for being a idiot and running into someone. All he could think about was the fact that she could be hurt or bleeding. That would be real nice to what little reputation he had on this place.

The green-eyed gypsy continued to look at him as he got up from the ground and dusted himself off. He looked to be about her age, “No, don’t worry about me.” She said with a smile and a shrug of her petite, bare shoulders. She tucked a piece of raven hair behind her ear as she studied the boy. When she saw that the boy was alright, she relaxed her stance, putting more of her weight on her left side and placed her arms across her chest, “I haven’t seen you around here.” She commented, looking behind him for a moment, hearing a woman yelling. Esmeralda wasn’t aware of the chaos that took place with the boy before or why he was running but Esmeralda saw in the distance a man accompanied by two guards and the man had been pointing this way. Being a gypsy, she automatically thought it was for her. Her eyes were locked on the three in the distance as they began running towards the two, “Uh, I’ve…gotta go.” She quickly said, without turning her gaze until she quickly scrambled to gather her bag and tambourine from the ground before turning to run the other way. “Nice to meet you.” She called behind her shoulder, out of politeness, not that they had actually introduced themselves yet.
